These initiatives focus on strengthening literacy, expanding educational opportunity, and encouraging mentorship for young people across the Turks and Caicos Islands. Through involvement with United Way Turks and Caicos Islands, including the “Yes I Can Read” literacy programme, volunteers and educators work together to support reading development and encourage a culture of learning among primary school students.
Additional community engagement includes youth development initiatives through the Turks and Caicos Islands Golf Association. These programmes introduce young Turks and Caicos Islanders to the sport while promoting mentorship, discipline, and opportunities for personal development.
Sustainable national progress is achieved when government, business, and civil society work together. Through initiatives in education, literacy, and community development, I help foster partnerships that expand opportunity and strengthen the social and economic fabric of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
